Genome이 있는 경우에서의 GBS
GBS (Genotyping by sequencing) 기술은 Resequencing과 같은 NGS 기반의 방식이지만, 제한효소로 Genomic DNA를 절단하여 절단된 주변 서열만 부분적으로 해독하기 때문에 resequencing에 비해 비용이 절감됩니다. GBS를 분석하고자 하는 생물 (식믈, 미생물 등)의 공개된 Reference 가 있는 경우, Reference에 sequencing reads를 Mapping하여 Reference 기반의 SNP와 50bp미만의 Small In/Del 등의 변이를 탐지할 수 있습니다.

GBS (Genotyping by sequencing) 기술은 Resequencing과 같은 NGS 기반의 방식이지만, 제한효소로 Genomic DNA를 절단하여 절단된 주변 서열만 부분적으로 해독하기 때문에 Resequencing에 비해 비용이 절감됩니다. GBS를 분석하고자 하는 작물, 생물의 공개된 Reference가 없는 경우에는 Whole genome sequencing을 통한 Draft genome작성 또는 RNAseq을 통한 Transctriptome assembly 진행 후, GBS reads를 Mapping하여 SNP와 50bp미만의 Small In/Del 등의 변이를 탐지할 수 있습니다
